Butcher Block Red pays tribute to the longtime butcher shop on Main Street in Tatamagouche. This crisp red ale owes its bold flavour to El Dorado’s fruity whole hops and the rich bitterness of roasted barley. A beer made for beer drinkers, it pairs well with a hard day’s work.

Purchased a can at the brewery on our trip to Nova Scotia. Pours a hazy rich amber colour with a foamy-creamy off-white head, good retention and nice soapy lacing. Beautiful nutty notes with fruitiness, coffee and soft hops. The nuttiness is blended with butterness and light dark grain. Nice light bitterness lingering creating some dryness. Another great brew from this brewery.
