Dry-hopped American Pale Ale made using a secret selection of hops to give this nice dry beer a lemon/lime aroma and citrus & slight tropical fruit flavor. Although this brew Hits the classification of an APA, it drinks like a session IPA perfect for a day on the boat fishing the reef. Reef Donkey is slang for the Greater Amberjack gamefish which inhabit our coastal wrecks and reefs.

The nose is hazier than the beer that is to say it's got that tropical fruit thing going on in and a bit of dank bong water in a good way. Hell apricot body fully hazed with a skim coat that leaves beautiful lace. I like the mouth on this it's almost clean like an old fashioned IPA a little slick perfect carbonation. Flavor follows the nose mild tropical fruits make a nice bitter finish long-lasting pretty clean. There's a little bit of barnyard funk going on here again it's that dank bong water.

Sort of a cross between and American & English Pale Ale. Also had some Extra Pale Ales that tasted similar to this. Not sure what makes them different (yeast/types of malts?). Nice citrus and floral notes, good hop content....well-balanced and clean feel.. Based on the amount of flavor, you'd think this was well over mid 5%. I'd rather drink this than many of the session IPAs out there now. Great year-round local beer for FL.
