Bottle: Poured a murky dirty brow color ale with a super large foamy head with great retention and great lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with typical Belgian malt and light spices mix. Taste is also a very well balanced mix between somerich sweet Belgian malt well balanced by some spices such as coriander and a spicy peppery yeast finish. Body is full with limited filtration and great carbonation with no alcohol was apparent.

Poured a cooper color, minimal head with an aroma of fruit. Can't really taste the 11 % ABV. which is a good thing. Slight spice flavor, but not at all intrusive. A nice Belgian winter ale.

This Belgian Strong Ale pours a slightly cloudy medium amber color from a 33cl bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is sweet malts, over-ripe dark fruit and some spices. A medium bodied BSA. The malts are caramel, dark fruits and fairly sweet. The hops are earthy. A touch spicy, grain of paradise and coriander, but mostly sweet malts and fruit. Nice carbonation. Hides the 11% alcohol very well. Would make a nice beer to sip on a cool winter evening. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Thanks to Patra for this wonderful birthday gift. It pours a dark iced tea color with a thick white head that fades off quickly. It does leave some lace on the glass even without much of a head. The aroma has sweet ripe fruit notes with bready malts and earthy yeast. The medium body is full of malts, yeast and coriander. Sweet and sour fruit notes pop out then fade off into a light bitter hops finish. Over all it's a very good, but average, Belgian ale.

Bottled@Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Brownish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is spices and malts with some very citrus fruity notes. Flavour is fruits, yeast some herbs and spices and finishes with a nice warming touch of alcohol.

PP 12-Hour Belgian Beer Fest...Pours with a cloudy amber-brown body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s sweet and malty with a slightly sour and bitter note as well as some dark and slightly rotten fruit notes. Full bodied, smooth and a touch dry.

Dull, dark, cloudy body. Very light tan head was a bit of a foamer but faded quickly but incompletely. The aroma is soapy and very perfumey. Flavor is figs, spice, fermented grapes (bad homemade wine). It has a very fuzzy mouthfeel from carbonation.
