A deep copper, mild brown ale accentuated by a slight nuttiness and a mouth watering note from our use of honey malt.

Nice dark amber brown, thinner head. Roasty sweet flavor, rounded out with a hoppy, slightly bitter finish. Medium body and somewhat dry. All qualities I love! Since I live in Atlanta, I can get this on draught every now and then, and it is definitely better on draught than in the bottle. This review is for draught. The bottled version loses a little bite, and has a slightly more bitter finish.

Exactly what you would think it would be. Caramel hops, a touch of nuttiness and some roasty notes. A little bit of sweetness and some very mild hopping.

Not at all hateful for a brown - of which I am usually not very fond. Warm, slightly sweet nuttiness in aroma and flavor. decent tan head with decent lacing as well. No standout characteristics, but very drinkable.

A beer of the month club entry for march 2010 -- An OK brew, I found it to be not as sweet as some other reviewers described. Moderate hops with nutty flavors thrown in for good measure.

A nice brown pour. A nice white head that fades. Minimal lacing around the glass. Aroma of burnt sugar and nuts. Flavor of nuts, malts, caramel, and a little hops. Very smooth and drinkable.

This beer was a little disappointing in that I am a huge fan of sweetwater. It pours nice and brown with a good head but the taste was a sickeningly sweet was a strong malt background. If you like sweet this is a good beer for you but to sweet for my blood.

The Wife liked this one, I did not. I do enjoy sweet beers but this one had a very weird body to it and did not smell real. I felt the roasted malt profile was fake. The flavor was fake and the smell was fake. That being said the aroma is very strong, I just did not like it. It also had a very strong roasty taste… I taste like bad taffy.

Sampled while waiting for a connection at Atlanta airport so ignore the price. Deep copper witha dirty head with good retention and average to good lace. Sweet nose from malt and hops. Mouthfeel was quite foamy and slightly watery, maybe a bit over carbonated? Nice flavor, very drinkable, wlightly sweet, not complicated, and more hops bitterness than expected in the style (probably to balance out the sweet malts). this is a pretty drinkable beer.

Color is a rich, dark brown with a decent head. Aroma has a hint of molasses, and is beery but not overwhelmingly so. Taste is malty and mild with a smoky undertone and hints of caramel. This beer works by itself, or as a party drink, or as an accompaniment to a nice meal.

A nice deep amber-brown color with a thin tan head that laces nicely. Malty, sweet aroma that hints of toasted barley and nuts. Not much carbonation. Nice rich roasted malty, nutty taste.
