pretty nice hop and dark malt balance here. slightly sweet leaning, but light-medium on the palate. lots of roast in the aroma...a little more subdued in the flavor, with hints of cocoa, and molasses. pretty nice, even well past it's best by date.

This is one of my favorite offerings from Sweetwater. Praise Ninkasi that it is available again! It pours a deep, rich, dark-chocolate brown with a thick, light tan head. Smoky aroma has unsweet chocolate, coffee and molasses notes plus a hint of miso. Flavor has a roast coffee core plus chocolate, nutty and molasses notes and a hint of caramel. Smooth, firm texture has plenty of fizz and leaves a nice tingly mocha finish.

Hearty and robust porter, no doubt Marley would be proud. A lot of oat bran, chocolate and toast. Silky smooth and medium bodied. Sweet and malty with some hops showing through. Different from you average porter and very enjoyable.

Exodus, Movement of Jah People! Newly re-introduced and now put in the Tacklebox 12 packs! Pleasant near black pour with a thin light tan head, some lacing. Cocoa, light molasses, lightly toasted malts, a touch of honey in the aromas, mon. Tasty spilff, this one is, with the cocoa and maltiness blending nicely like a Reggae Night, leaving me feeling a bit Three Little Birds just a'flyin' around, so No Woman, No Cry because I Did NOT shoot The Sheriff. Got lost in it.... Dem Belly Full...Good Porter, mon.

Wow. Some pretty old reviews in this bunch. Only the second person to rate this beer in 5 years? Anyway, Jah know this beer gut. EXODUS! Pours a dark brown, no head, smooth, creamy toffee and caramel notes. Light chocolate, slight bitter finish. Easy drinking bier. Big thanks to Jennifer for bringing me back a 12 of Sweetwater!

This pours, looks and smells of an average porter, it is dark brown with a pretty thin tan head, the taste is mainly malt but like most Sweetwater beers it has more bitterness and hop flavor coming through. It is a good beer and hard to get, it is also a good introduction to those who have not had a porter before because it is not overpowering.

I like this beer but porters are getting on my nerves, alittle....pours black, with a small ring of lasting head..has some roastiness, but quite tame..its lackluster but a solid starter porter, would also try on tap for sure..

This porter pours a dark black color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is lightly roasted malts, some chocolate and coffee. A medium bodied Porter. Malts are semi-sweet chocolate, touch of coffee and some vanilla. Hops are slightly bitter and a touch earthy. A little thin tasting for a porter, but it has a nice round soft carbonation that makes up for that somewhat. Crisp and dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with some coffee.

Bottle given to me by Dansting. Pours a dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma is pleasant and smells of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is excellent with a great yeast/hop bite to it. Really good porter. Would like to have this again.

Bottle. Pours a clear, deep, dark-brown color with a thick, light-brown head. Sweet aroma of malt. Nice mouthfeel, lighter than may porters. Nice malty flavor with a coffee flavor, although not overpowering. Really good porter.
