A semi translucent reddish-brown ale in color. Big foamy textured, whitish-beige head rises above. Decent hang time settling eventually into thick film on the glass sides and a thinner cap of clouds atop the body. Mostly malt in the nose. Subtle bittering is present. The body is medium, and creamy in texture. In the taste is a surprise. The hops not noted in the nose are in the taste. Citrus bold and up front. But enough malt to make this a well crafted beer.

thank you Judy! Pours out a light tan red colour .. . decent head, lacing is sparse but sturdy .. . smell is of caramel in a metal can and hop lipstick .. . interesting mix of light sweet malts with a mix of American hops, cascade is my top vote mixed with alot of maple .. . mouthfeel is kind of a let down, with the aggressive nature of the hops, it falls short .. . I am happy i got it .. . pow! right in the kisser! pow! right in the kisser! pow! right in the kisser!! ... hmm, i guess we're looking the other way..

Bought a six of this this past weekend: Poured a pretty translucent reddish amber colour with a normal sized white head. Taste is malty and rich with some soft hop notes in the finish. Aroma is pleasent with fine fruits and maybe a little wood. a pretty comfortable beer. not too much at all.

This is my new favorite Summit beer. Pours a clear amber with a medium sized white head. West coast hops evident in the aroma--pine and citrus dominate. Hops are definitely present in the taste along with a faint malty sweetness. Fairly bold for a Summit brew--gotta say I really enjoy the hopped up amber style that seems to be becoming more popular. Could see myself drinking several of these over the course of an evening and I've heard it tastes even better out of the tap (can't wait for the opportunity to try that).
