Pours a clear dark amber with little to no head. Decently carbonated. Aroma is very hoppy with hints of fruits. Taste in itself is a combination of an IPA and an Irish red. Hints of hops, malts and tropical fruits. Full bodied and leaves you chewing afterwards. I really like this. Tastes like a darker version of their Size 7.

"Double Red" is a misnomer when the beer comes in at 6.5% abv. Earthy hops and some maltiness in aroma and taste. More bitter than sweet but rather average overall.

It was a long time ago when I tried this with Mista Pfista and blue Lou. Poured a reddish colour with a rather thin head. Aroma was fruity, citrus notes, hops. Taste was well hopped, bitter herbal notes. Nice brew.

Nice new contribution from the PfoxyJohn himself for @IrishPfist 2012. Deep ruby copper pour with a slight but tight white head, good lacing. Earthy hopped aroma with plenty of maltiness to offset. Earthy hop bitter in the flavor too, with a nice biscuit and caramel presence throughout. Nice offering from this upstart brewery. Thanks John.
