Pours a hazy honey olden with a nice ivory head. Aroma is mainly fruity - banana, orange and lemon - with a wheaty underpinning. Wheaty flavor has citrus, banana and subtle yeasty notes, as well as an odd metallic tang. Texture is fairly fizzy and firm, but that metal edge haunts the finish. Still, feel the love!

Sampled on 10/12/2012 at GABF. This German Hefeweizen pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a lot of banana and clove. A medium bodied hefeweizen. The malts are fruity and sweet, banana and clove, some hair spray. The hops are herbal. Decent carbonation. Overall way to sweet, and way too phenolic. More banana and clove at the finish. Just way too much banana. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Aromas of bananas, clove, bubblegum, and a touch of Elmers glue.Standard hazy yellow body, not much head or lace to speak of.All the flavors are there, but the taste is very subdued. Lots more lemon than expected from the nose. Some banana, clove, and yeast, but mostly citrusy lemon. Not terrible, but a bit weak. Mouthfeel is not bad, smooth and bubbly.Overall its a pretty average wheat.

A cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. The aroma is tame with lemons and bready notes. The flavor is rather dull with some bananas, lemons, and wheat. This is more like a straight up wheat ale than a hefe. Disappointing really but not horrible. I’m not feeling the LOVE!

At the festival I was at, they advertised this as "One Love" but looks like it's the same thing. I wasn't too impressed with this one. Seemed like a sweetened up version of Blue Moon or Shocktop, but I just wasn't feeling the "love". My buddy bought us a round, which I was fortunate enough to get the Northern Lights IPA instead. He couldn't finish his One Love, so I drank the rest. Maybe I needed a freshie, or to try it in a bottle or something. After two samples (this One Love and IPA), not so sure that I'll become a big fan of Starr Hill.

As you would expect this one pours a cloudy golden yellow color. A moderate frothy white head sits atop for awhile. Not all that long. Settles into a light lacing. The aroma is light, wheat and sweet malt. Some spice, some fruit I would not identify until the tasting. The body is light. The carbonation was robust. Some might find that distasteful. The taste is definitely bananas. No, really, bananas as in the fruit. Some spice, subtle citrus. Nice summertime quaff. But to my liking, it was okay.

On tap at Brixx Pizza in Knoxville. Pours a hazy yellow with a thinnish head and decent lacing. Aromas of weak rip bananas, some bubble gum and wet wheat. Taste is slightly gritty with the banana coming through first then some bubble gum and malts. Decent hefe.

Bottle courtesy of dkachur. Pours opaque and murky with a thin white head. Smells of coriander, grass, hay, meons. Tastes of lemons, sweet wheat, oranges. Rocky finish.

Very pleasent tasting brew overall. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Plenty of sweet aromas and a pleasent mouthfeel. Flavors of lemongrass, pretzels and bubblegum.

Pours a cloudy yellow body with a sturdy head. There is a good balancing of the wheat, banana and the clove flavors and aromas with the wheat winning out just a bit.
