Very dark brown with little ruby highlights. The head is mocha-coloured, starts off bubbly, kind of frothy, but becomes creamy, quite long lasting with some decent creamy lacing. Big chocolate, cacao aromas over the roasted barley. Hints of tropical fruits. These come a little more out in the taste and the base is chocolate malts and cocoa powder light tart. The mouthfeel is very smooth with the nitro and the finish is on the dry side, woody. An interesting chocolate stronger stout with a bunch of other ingredients that work well together.

Small 330ml can from LCBO. Pours a fairly small frothy tan head, thought it would be bigger and thicker. Some decent sticky dirty lace. Has a deep and dark appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of chocolate, mocha, cacao, oats and wheaty notes. Flavours of cacao nibs, dark milk chocolate, lactose, some notes of oats and barley malt. Subtle hints of cherry, making it a bit similar to a dark forest cake. A little bit of yeast but fairly mild. The nitro on the can refers more to the mouthfeel as it feels fuller, creamier and more expansive than a foamier mouthfeel.
