This is a great pale bock that I enjoyed during a trip to Chico. Great flavor with a fruity finish. Overall, this one is worth the search for and I recommend it to all.

Bottled (thanks to either Degarth or Stoutlover72, I forgot whom I got this from...). I managed to break the neck of the bottle by mistake while digging in my beer cellar... Hazy orange golden colour with mediumsized white head, with some yeast still on the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is sweet malts, US flowery hops, some fresh oranges and slight alcoholic notes. Flavour is fruity and flowery hoppy, grassy, oranges and also some slightly yeasty notes also. Quite nectary and hopped aftertaste. I wouldn't recognize this a pale bock if I had to try it as a "blind rating".

1990 vintage bottle sampled at The Stuffed Sandwich. Aging has deepened the color to an medium amber with a decent white head for being 13 years old.Spicy nose. Malty body with a flavor reminiscent of apple spice muffins. I really wish they would start bottling this one again.

draft: O’Brien’s, San Diego. Clear yellow color, mildly hoppy nose, some malt and hop in the flavor, fairly simple and nothing to get very excited about. not enough maltiness to it.

PIss clear, nothing special. I mean its not like its bad, but i really dont dig this style. Has some bitters to it and a decent finish but really does nothing for me.

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Very light gold color with very little head if any. Grainy malt aroma with a bit of an initial hop bite. Taste is slightly smoky and sweet with lingering flavors of malt and wheat. Slightly hoppy and clean tasting. Nice lively mouthfeel and light to medium bodied. Not worth a second pint of but worth a try once.

The beer is pale in color with an orange tint to it. The flavor was a little fruity for a bock beer, although it was tasty.

This brew pours with a clear golden body with an orange tint, topped by a thick white head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and slighty hoppy with a nice grapefruit note, yet there’s a slight mustiness. Not much malt for a bock. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with a nice hoppiness. Light to medium bodied, smooth and slightly dry.

Draft... Poured a golden color with a fluffy white head and some lacing. Aroma of lemon, citrus hops, and tropical fruits. Bready taste of light fruits and a nice lively carbonation.
