For whatever reason, the beer smells like vomit to me. Not just that the beer smells undesirable, but rather that it actually smells like human regurgitated matter. The taste has some blueberries in it, but for my money, I'd rather drink their Apricot beer.

Had as Kennebunkport Blueberry Wheat Ale. Strong aroma is overwhelmingly blueberry, with a wheaty hint. Hey, what can I say - I LOVE blueberries! It pours a clear amber with a fluffy white head. Flavor is wheaty with a subtle blueberry tone, but a bit on the thin side. Not so good - but not horrible, either. Texture has average body and a fair amount of fizz. If you really like fruit beers, and really like blueberries, go ahead, pick this one and give it a fair shake.

Aromas of blueberry upon opening, later some cider/ vinegar and as it warmed the wheat came out. Mid yellow body thin ringed head, only a spot or two of lace left behind. Flavor of blueberries are mild, not over or underwhelming, and the wheat comes out as well.

I thought this would be another gay fuity drink, but I admit, it wasn't horible. I wouldn't have tried it except it was free at a local beer tasting. Light crisp and refreshing with a hint of blue berries. This is a nice light beer with a blueberry flavor

pour a pale golden color, wonderful blueberry armoa, nice head with good carbonation. This beer is really good on warm summer days, quite refreshing might be a little sweet tasting for some folks. If you like fruit beers try this one.

WOW! The blueberry aroma explodes out of this beer. Golden yellow pour with quite a bit of carbonation. Zero lace. I could not get over the aroma which just reinforced the sweetness of this beer. Not for me.

First beer from Maine for me, best enjoyed before November 2010 (notched on the side of the front label). Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a white head that disappears at average speed and no lacing to be found. On the other hand, a little coat tops the brew. Slow tiny-bubble carbonation with a thin watery mouthfeel. Big nose of blueberries with notes of the wheat. The wheat is more noticeable in the taste, and the blueberries are still there, but what is interesting is the rich honey that comes out in the aftertaste. A very nice fruit beer. Just wish they would not filter it.

When I smelled the nose on this beer, my inital reaction was...Whoa! That’s some serious blueberries in that nose. Thinking that the aroma would blow over, I was very pleased to find that it kept the same blueberry profile thru the entire beer. Sure it was one-dimensional. Still, for a beer to say blueberries and then deliver said blueberries on the nose is pretty cool. The rest of the beer was average at best.

The appearance was a clear medium gold color, with a ultra thin whispy cap that eventually went away completely. Mouthfeel was thin. Flavors had a nice refreshing dose of blueberries, but it was also soapy. Reminded me of some kind of foo-foo, girly body soap my wife would use. Easy to drink the first one, but I’d think that after one the blueberry assault would get a bit old.

This is one of my favorite american wheat beers. Although they label this here as a fruit beer, it really is more like a wheat. Not nearly as fruity as some other fruit beers, that mainly add fruit in. I believe this beer uses the blueberries in the brewing process, so doesn't have that overwhelming flavor, but noticable for sure. Pours a pale yellow, slight golden color. Decent carbonation, not slightly flat like some other wheats. Am always looking out for this at festivals.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12 oz. bottle. The freshness date is March 2009. The pour is a pale golden with a finger's worth of white head. Retention is very low, and lacing is minimal. The nose was simply wheat and blueberries. The taste was more of the same, but at times the wheat outshines the blueberries (at the start and finish of the sip) while the blueberries command the majority. The mouthfeel is thin with plenty of carbonation. Drinkability is nice; I could have a few. I probably should have tried this beer at the beginning of the week when temperatures were in the eighties as opposed to the forties. That said, this wouldn't be a bad beer in warmer temperatures, but it's not something I'll keep on hand.
