Bursting with life. Feels fine in 2009. Definitely a good hefferwisen. Flavers a bit of banana, apple cider, some spice and everything nice. It's all right. But, oh, it makes me wonder, wonder and wander, I'm wandering off now... into space. I put on my space face and taste the grace of this beer thats placed from the bottle to the glass then my mouth, then my body.

A quite delicious german hef from the mother land. It pours a cloudy hazey lazy golden colour with a medium size white head with decent froth and intriquite lacing down the glass. Banannas, green apple, clove, orange peel on the nose. Soft spice on the palate, tropical fruit- reminds me of runts.

Aroma is strong and wheaty with a "rubbery" undertone. Color is a somewhat cloudy straw yellow, and the white head does not hang around for long. Flavor is mouth-filling, richly wheaty with a hint of citrus. Texture is very smooth and pleasant. Not complex, but refreshing and summery.

For the style this beer was right on the money, had the nice color, good aroma and the banana taste sought after in the German wheats. Good all around beer.

This brew was the first that I had after about a week of alcohol freeness. I had some teeth pulled and was in quite a lot of pain as well as drugged up. This brew was nuts and fruits in the aroma. The appearance is light gold and the head is foamy. the flavor is also citrusy and delecious. the mouthfeel is crisp. overall good hefe.

First I have to say that the swing top on this bottle is pretty sweet my first. Pours a cloudy golden color with a white head that rises quickly and takes its time to dissipate. Aroma has a wonderful banana, doughy/cake aroma. Underscored with some nice light cloves. Perfectly balanced. Taste banana & cloves up front; peppery spice follows with hint of lemon.

I'd have to second most of what Stoutlover72 said. I found this beer in the 4packs at $8 so it's quite a bargian at that price for a beer this good. In addition to the bannana fruit forwardness, there's also hints of Vanilla with some citrius mouthfeel. If you find this in 4-packs, don't pass it up!!!

Quite an excellent find here, and it went perfectly on a warm California evening watching my A's play the day before July 4th. The aroma was very fruity with notes of peaches, bananas, clove and some breadyness. Appearance was a slightly hazy golden yellow with a really beautiful creamy head that had staying power. Mouthfeel was creamy and smooth, and quite the suprise. Flavors were very crisp with fruity notes being first and foremost. After a bit of digging you could pick up some cracker and some yeast but the fruit forwardness of this beer made it really hard to get anything other than, well...fruit. Very enjoyable and highly recommended if not for the quality, then the price is right too.
