Very good amber ale. Great nose, good head, nice finish. My dad broght it back from TEXAS for me. Too bad I can't find it in minnesota.

Courtesy of markwise. Pours deep clear gold with off white head (a gold colored amber ale?). The aroma is fruity with apples and pears paired with fresh grains, hay and spicy hops. Not much maltiness in the aroma for the style. The taste has some sugar malt sweetness rolling into a bit of biscuit, a touch of roasted malts and spicy hops. I also get a mild level of light skinned fruitiness that seems to interject itself onto the scene form time to time.

Taps clear amber with a good ivory head. Aroma presents toasty malt and resiny hops with a bit of citrus. Flavor delivers funky and piney hops plus toasty and woody tones and fresh malt. Texture offers decent body and peppy fizz. Saintly.

Clear orange copper with lacing off-white foam head. Aroma is fresh yeast, some floral notes. taste nice bitter, little sweet, creamy. OK aftertaste. (Houston 201310)

This was not as good as I was expecting it to be. The beer is more of a reddish gold than an amber. The head was white, bubbly, and short lived. The aroma was sour vegetables, grainy malt, and apple. The flavour was more acidic than anything. There were hints of sweet malty tones, but not a lot.

Dirty copper pour, next to no lhead or lacing. The aroma was of rotten cardboard and metal. The flavor was bready and caramel malt, metallic notes and some wet dog. Really, really fruity sweet with next to no hops to balance it out. Oily mouthfeel. Ugh, by far the worst of my Saint Arnold’s tastings to date.

Slightly disappointed in this offering from st. arnolds. While they normally have good beer i belive that the sixer i got was old. It poured a nice looking body, nice head, decent lacing, good carbonation, it wasnt amber in color, more yellow. It smelled great, better than i expected with notes of pine almost floral. The taste was bitter, and slightly sweet. I will re-review this one again in a few months.

One of the best beers I have ever had. It is honestly great for price. Pours amber with white head. Very floral aroma and taste. If you are in Texas, you have to try it. Worth every penny and them some.

Saint Arnold is a very disapointing brewery. The brown was watery and lifeless and the Amber doesn't even really qualify as an amber in color. It's more like a golden with a reddish tint. The flavor is also really weak and lack the complexity of a good amber.

On cask at Ginger Man in Dallas. What a waste of taking the trouble to put a beer in a cask and on a hand pump. Had a small white head. Had a light gold and amber colored body. The aroma was slight oranges. The taste was thin with apples and some sourness. Below average in every respect.
