Pours reddish-amber with an incredible head: thick, creamy, with lots of lacing. Grapefruit and floral notes nearly balance bread and caramel malt character in the aroma. Lots of toasted malt and sweet grains form the base flavor. Then a hint of roastiness and an effective amount of citrus hop bittering contribute to a clean, dry finish. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy, über smooth. A delicious and satisfying beer. Another remarkable amber out of Oklahoma; here they really are worth drinking.
