The Cascadian Dark Ale, otherwise know as our Double Black IPA, emerged stylistically from the Pacific North West. It has an IPA backbone with a "special blend" of choice roasted malts combined with a hard hitting matchup of hops, knocking this beer into a new weight class. Dry hopped and unfiltered for maximum flavor and punch. Enjoy it with a trainer!

On tap at Fete for the Grown Ass Prom..in Providence, RI. First one gave me a buzz, and the 2nd one gave me an even bigger buzz! Black IPAs are hit or miss for me, but this was one of the best ones I've had. Great hop-malt balance, with a smooth creamy texture. Will have to look out for a bottle of the bourbon aged version on my next visit up here.
