Last can from their 3rd Edition IPA Fun Box, pouring a dark brown with clean enough, ruby highlights. The head is warm-beige, frothy, fluffy, long lasting and leaving some thick foamy lacing lines. Roasted malt aromas with some mild grassy hops. The grassiness is a little more on top in the taste, with the burnt barley as a light base. The hoppiness, dryness does linger. Smooth all-around, and the dry finish does build up with time.

Tall can part of mixed 6pk. Pours a good size frothy beige head and has a deep dark amber appearance. Some decent sticky lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of earthy and herbal hops, a bit grassy and some notes of toasted malt. Flavours are mostly of the herbal and grassy hop variety, a little bit earthy as well. Some mild floral hop notes and some barley malts in the mix. Some bitterness on the palate in the finish.

8% abv. This is an exellent beer. Maybe I should have given it a 10 for appearance. A little more lacing and I would have. Roasted almost burnt malt aroma, pine and coffee. Very bold flavours of roasted/burnt malts, strong black coffee, licorice, pine and tar. Beautiful. Medium/full, sticky, smooth, oily mouthfeel. Highly recommended. Toss up between this and Malevolent.
