As a UW- Stevens Point grad, I spent too much time sampling this beer. My rating is a bit generous, call me sentimental. If you are ever Walleye fishing in Wisconsin this is the beer. Taste good, you can drink alot of it, and get the deposit back on the bottles (at least you did)

Don't know why I picked this up, never have been a fan of Point. They are just a hair better than your average swill. This beer tries to make a run at a good hoppy flavor but it's ruined by that grassy, sour, stale malt, mass brewed skunk that American macro brew is known for.

Poured a clear amber color with a firm white head. Had pretty good lacing. There was some subtle hop aroma with hints of pine. There was noticeable hop spice in teh flavor with noticeable lemon nuances. Very drinkable.

Brown bottle with a twist off cap. Some rotten hop aroma on the twist, in a good way. Almost a ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance with a little more orange added. Taste is quite hoppy, wants to be a baby IPA. Some creamy carbonation in the below average fizz. More hops than I expected for this brand. Yes, almost annoying at times. Mild medicinal bitter finish that hangs for a while.

Really nice looking beer resembling maple syrup. Thick tan head that left plenty of lacing on the glass. The flavor was average though I could get passed a metallic taste and smell of old oranges.

An average swill, really. Malt and yeast nose, with a tiny hint of hops. Nice enough in appearance; a pretty, golden color with a modest head that left a bit of lacing, and busy carbonation. But mouthfeel and flavor were unremarkable, IMHO. Thought I'd try it, but with the variety of alternate choices available, I won't have another.

Rich golden color with a modest head and good lacing. Delightful dry hoppy cascade aroma-sure smells like an APA alright. Medium bodied with a dryish malty profile and a fine citrusy bitterness. This one was just bottled a couple weeks ago and still has that "greeness" to it. Tasty indeed.
