Fantastic Voyage is a milk stout brewed with coconut. We also added lactose sugar to give it a creamy mouth feel and a bit of sweetness. The roasted malts and coconut meet the hops bitterness to deliver a full rich finish. Fantastic Voyage has notes of chocolate that make it a great fit for enjoying after dinner with dessert or even a cigar.

Pours coffee brown with a thick and fairly persistent chocolate head. Aroma gives roast malt, coffee, chocolate, and an earthy hint. Flavor provides roast malt, chocolate, coffee, a bit of toasted coconut. Texture yields firm, viscous body and peppy fizz with a dark roasty finish. Book yourself on a Fantastic Voyage!

Tasted the chocolate first, then the burn and finally the coconut. I enjoyed this beer the longer I drank it. I expected a sweeter beer since it is a milk stout flavored with coconut, but it reminded me more of a sour. Thank you to the beverage man at Casa del Foam for sharing this beer with me.
