Pale Ale is a golden amber brew, made with Cascade hops from the Yakima Valley. Adding Cascades during conditioning captures the rich aroma of the hop, and completes the clean, well-balanced flavor of our American pale ale. Crisp, refreshing, exotically aromatic, and available all year. (OG: 1048, 23 IBU)

a crisp and clean beer, but one that lacked character in a recent apa tasting. average at best, but not something I'd turn down...or buy again. fairly thin.

Pours an amber-copper with very little head. Hops are noticeable in the aroma but not as much as I had hoped for a Cascade-hopped ale. Taste is similarly mild--just not quite what I expected from the description. A drinkable pale ale but I would have liked more hop aroma and bitterness.

Light amber color, thin white head, little retention. Faint aroma of floral hops. Medium-bodied, soft palate. Little flavor other than very light hop bitterness, and even that is subdued - like creek water. Not much 'there' here. MUSIC: 'Biggest Mistake' by the Stones

I hated this beer. I hope that all 3 bottles I had were bad. It had the worst pale ale flavor I have ever had. The Color was way too light, no head and felt like stale water in the mouth. YUK!!!!!!!!!!!

Pours a clear copper with a white head that doesn't last long. Nice floral aroma. Thin mouthfeel with a very light flavor. Slight bitterness at the end. Nothing too exciting about this one.

Poured a nice amber color with a decent head. Had a nice floral aroma with little hops. Flavor was nice and malty with a little citrus on the finish. Real smooth and just a nice easy drinkable ale.

Love the beer these guys put out. Pours a nice clear copper colour with a full white head. Aroma is fruit- grapefruit, lime and pineapple. Taste is nicely hopped with a smooth finish.

Pours an amber with a decidedly red influence. This is hoppier than I expected from Otter Creek. Doesn’t have the fresh hop aroma of a dryhopped beer, but they used a good bit of hops here. A bit of diacetyl.

Picked up this brew to enjoy while watching Opening Day baseball. Poured into the glass with little head. Golden and very clear. It has a heavy, sticky smell. That’s good though. Rolls over the tounge nicely, and the Cascade hops stay with you for a while. Medium body and carbonation. Not one of my favorite Pale Ales, but no way I would turn it down if offerd to me.

A classic case of a beer tasting almost exactly how you imagined it would, just from reading the label. I expected this Cascade-friendly beer would be a East Coast cousin twice-removed from Sierra Nevada -- and to be honest, I don't think that description is too far from the truth.
A bit over-active with the carbonation, but I was still able to get the majority of this beer into my glass. At least the over-activity of this beer made sure to release all sort of goodness, in the aroma department. Thumbs up there.
Another thumbs up for the flavor profile. Perhaps a little more complex in the malt department than SNPA, and perhaps a little darker, but otherwise I would have a hard time picking this out from the more famous West Coast American Pale Ale.
An enjoyable beer, from a brewery that I'm not really familar with -- but will have to investigate a bit more in the future. Recommended.
(Why all the talk about SNPA? Only due to the fact that I have way too much SNPA left over from my wedding reception sitting in my fridge...! ;)
