The beer had a very hoppy, dry flavor. It could used a little more malt to balance out the hops, they were a little overpowering. The color was a deep gold. A tasty beer, and unique in that it comes from a can.

The beer pours a translucent light copper colour with a generous light tan coloured head that lasts a few minutes. The aroma is pine, grapefruity hops, biscuit grains and light spice notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is reminiscent of a solid American west coast IPA pre-2012 with notes of pine, caramel, and grapefruit finished with a bitter hop bite. Quite good when given the abundance of tropical fruit IPAs these days. -

Pours a clean amber colour with a big warm creamy head, great retention and some nice foamy lacing. Aromas of an Imperial IPA with the grassiness and caramel malts. Then, I get some rustiness, which seems to disappear after a while. Good. The taste is pretty mild at first with the caramel and then, finally the hops showing late in the finish. This creates a decent bitterness with nice dryness. Feels more like an IIPA than a pale ale.

355ml can from LCBO. Pours a fairly big frothy off-white head and has a pale golden appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas of light roasted malts, earthy and herbal hops. Flavours are a mix of malt and hop notes. Earthy hops and slight bitterness. Some subtle caramel as well as bready malt hints. Good balance of sweetness and bitterness. Quite easy to drink and plenty flavourful.

Pours with a clear light amber body topped off by a fluffy beige head that holds leaving nice lace. Aroma is sweet caramel malts with a nice hoppy balance. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth, very drinkable at 6.5%. Flavor is very balanced with great citrusy hops, caramel malt and a nice floral finish.

Dark copper color with a foamy, eggshell colored head that leave some sticky lacing on the glass. Sweet aroma dominated by citrus and malt. Citrus, pine and sweet malt flavors. Dry, but not bitter finish. A pleasant, somewhat resiny aftertaste. Very smooth and well balanced, as none of the flavors dominate, but work in unison to create a tasty beer. Nicely carbonated. A solid APA that I will need to revisit. 2 thumbs up!

Pours dark copper with a white head that dissipates quickly. Sweet malt and citrus aroma. Citrus and piney hops up front, with some caramel malts. Mouth is slick with a bitterness that coats the palate. Medium bodied and not overly carbonated.

Pours a slightly darker amber with a 2 finger head that takes its sweet ass time. Very well carbonated this one is. Aroma is bready with hints on hops, malt and slight sweetness. Taste starts ever slightly metallic but mellows off. hints of hops, candy sugar, and dried fruits. Finishes off very sticky and dry. Goes down very smooth. Good beer this one is.

Picked up a growler at Casanova's in Hudson WI. Much like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Dale's isn't the best pale ale/IPA available but always a great go-to. Grapefruit and piney hop aroma and taste with plenty of bitterness.

This poured a nice light brown, kind of heavy on the hops and still a nice backdrop of malt.A very nice brew , glad i was able to find this one .A can single is kind of pricey , but worth it.

I appreciate the comment on the can of "Pack It In, Pack It Out" referring the fact that this just fine canned beer is a good one to take on a hiking trip. Medium bodied with nice floral hoppy overtones and just the bitter side of bitter, it is refreshing but substantive enough to be invigorating after exertion. Grassy, mountain flowers and spring rains. Nice.
