Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of clean cereal with light residual sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by floral cereal with a clean dry finish with some subtle residual sugar notes. There is also some light cooked vegetables which I could have done without. Body is quite full with slight oily texture with good carbonation. Not bad thought it doesn't really stand out and the light DMS touch is not that pleasant.

I bought this simply to knock another country off my list - but was pleasantly surprised enough to buy more. A very hoppy lager. Clear gold, white head with a hoppy aroma. The flavour was equally hoppy.

The beer poured a translucent red hued gold with a minimal white cap. The aroma was sweet malt, pine, and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was citrusy hops/weak grapefruit with some sweet malt tones. A very good lager. -

Bottle: pours a deep gold-amber lager in the flute, copious 3 finger frothy off white cap lasts and laces up the glass. Wonderfully unique aroma...great clean lager malts;bready, biscuity a touch of caraMunich over essentially Ale hopping: Cascade citrus, pine and grass. Nice round mouth feel,.Big malts in the front balanced well with citrus and pine resinous hopping...stays balanced into the finish which is clean, lightly bitter and lightly dry. A very satisfying but quenching lager with the unique character of ale hopped balance. Great innovation, I want more of this.

Nice... A brew from Iceland (and just in time to go with their volcano ash clouds). Pours a light caramel-yellow colour that is slightly hazy with a decent creamy-foam off-white head that stays a little while and creates beautiful lacing. Nicely well-blended aromas of fresh piney needle hops and grainy malts. I guess the hop stays in the nose department only, as it is quite mild in the taste and no bitterness comes out of it. Refreshing, I must say it is though (with a watery mouthfeel). A little caramel is found in the flavours as well. Interesting lager overall, worth trying (and better brewed than most macro lagers out-there).

Bottle, under Danish name "Skælv", at RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg, ABV 5%. Deep golden colour, low head. Pleasant aroma of grapefruity American(?) hops and caramel. Fairly rich mouthfeel for a golden lager. The flavour has crystal malts and some caramel, noticeable American hops, but is not very bitter.
