Joe da Silva, self-made portuguese in the US who’s back in the neighborhood he once left behind. He became more portuguese than the ones who stayed, although he brought all that American influence that’s also in the character of this American Pale Ale - a recipe that is a result of the pioneering bravery of the american home brewers. American hops in a balanced bitterness allows the perception of the malts and gets you great drinkability, which means you do not notice the end of it coming. Made in Lisbon, Portugal.

330 ml bottle, from a SPAR shop in Funchal. American Pale Ale. ABV is 5.5%, IBU 37. Hazy golden colour, huge white head, overcarbonated. Aroma of ale yeast and piney hops. Fizzy mouthfeel. Yeasty and piney flavour, not impressive.
