An American Classic. This well balanced pale ale uses Centennial hops for bittering with Crystal and Cascade hops for aroma. Domestic crystal malts give the beer color and light Caramel flavor. Taste a bit of paradise for yourself!

Tasted at the Huntington Beach location. This beer reminded a bit of SNPA with a bit more sweetness but still just as tasty. Aroma was sweet malts, a touch of tropical fruits and a healthy dose grapefruit hops. Appearance is amber in color, nice one-finger white head. Flavor was soft caramel malts, a nice grapefruit hop profile and all the time being very easy drinking. Good stuff.

Dark amber pour with an off white head. Malty nose with a slight hint of hops. Light body, watery. Weak hop bite. Disappointing.

Medium amber color. Aroma is malty and a touch mango. A medium bodied pale ale. Malts are fruity. Hops are grapefruity. There is a yeasty tang to the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pretty much your standard, by-the-book, run-of-the-mill, "been-there, done-that, (got-the-t-shirt)" American Pale Ale that seemingly every single brewpub and brewery on the West Coast has. Besides a slightly more interesting malt bill than the norm, there really isn't a whole lot here that I haven't had 100's of times before.
Shared a pitcher of this with the guys after our road-trip to The Alipine Beer Company last night. And perhaps it's not too fair to go from that establishment's excellent beers to a rather standard American Pale Ale like this, but it did quench a thirst and match up well with the pizza. What more do you really need, eh...?
