Pours a crystal clear light brown with no head what-so-ever. Has a little carbonation, some bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass. Aroma is very interesting, smells just like brownie batter with a little cherry added. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma, cake batter with the nice taste of whole cherries. Very sweet. I remember a cherry cake that a friends mother made back several years ago that tasted just like this beer. This has no beer taste to it but is an interesting one to try at least once.

pours a dirty, medium brown with some sediment clouding with very thin off-white head that faded very quickly and not much lacing. The aroma is over ripe red marischino cherries, cocoa powder. The taste is watery base with mild cherry flavors and lots of cocoa powder toward the middle and finish. The mouthfeel is thin body with light carbonation and a mild aftertaste of cocoa powder. This is not my idea of a fruit beer.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a medium creamy white head that retains well.
The aroma is sweet dark fudgy chocolate and cherries.
The flavor is sweet cherries and fudgy chocolate. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, it's basically chocolate covered cherries masquerading as beer. It's a bit on the sweet and decadent side for me to drink a lot of. -

Pronounced aroma of maraschino cherries and Tootsie Rolls....very unique and invitingly entertaining. Smells nice, but the buck stops there as this beer falls a few levels. Ruby brown cola color with a foggy body, thin head and minimal lacing. Fizzy and sweet with a medicinal finish. Sugary cherries, cocoa, gritty grains and Tootsie Rolls. Sheesh

Not much to say about this beer. My buddy got me one because he wanted to try it. I obliged and the beer was darker than a normal fruit beer with a sweet cherry Tootsie Pop smell. The smell was exactly copied in the taste. This beer was overly sweet and would make most think they were drinking a soda. Overall, not one that will cross my palate again.

I was thinking this would be a dark stout. Pour a hazy amber color with a small head. Really good lacing on my glass. Heavy aroma of cherries. Flavor tastes like a chocolate covered cherry. One of these is good, more than that would be a little too much.

This beer pours brownish orange/red with a foamy white head that dissapears quickly. The aroma is malty and sweet, with a distinct cherry aroma. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with very little carbonation which leads to a nice mouthfeel for a fruit beer. The flavor is as advertised, dominated by cherry and chocolate flavors. It is a nice twist on beer if you like cherry and chocolate, but it isn't very complex and the flavors taste like they were added as an after thought. I'd have rather seen a cherry chocolate stout. The finish is dry and there is little additional flavor that comes as the beer warms. Different, and I know some ladies who might like it, but it's not something I'd drink often. After drinking this whole beer, I actually think a beer like this has it't time and place. If you were just kicking back on a nice summer day in the shade, a few of these would be a nice change from your everyday beers. Sometimes simple is good.

I have tried this beer many times. I live in the O'fallon area and it seems like every time I attend a tasting, this beer is there. Nice head. The color is a cloudy brown. Good lacing. It smells like a malty chocolate beer like it is suppose to. The cherry part is faint, but works for me. A very nice malty aftertaste is my favorite side of this strange but good brew. No hardcore beer guy will like this one, but lucky for Ofallon, I drink what I like. I'm not sure about the science behind hangovers, but 7 or 8 of these will hurt the next day!

This pours a lot lighter than I expected given the chocolate in the name, which had me thinking stout, but this is more a brown ale. The flavors are fake tasting and quite frankly, I found this beer to be a drain pour.

Most odd beer color i may have ever seen. Virtually no head to speak of and the smell was a very strong chocolate with a hint of cherry. The taste of this stuff was no where near as strong as the smell was. Odd stuff.
