Pours a beautiful clear, slightly coppery, amber with a fairly thick and fluffy palest tan head. Strong, malty aroma has a sweetish fruit overtone, mainly apple with a hint of pear. Refreshing flavor has equal parts malt and fruit, the latter mostly apple plus some pear and is subtly sweet. There is also a hint of hops. Smooth texture has slightly above average body and good fizz. Let this one lift your spirits.

It pours a slightly hazy burnt-orange with a thick soap-white head and specks of lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, light hops, orange, honey, and light spices. The mouthfeel is too thin and watery. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, orange, light honey, bread and yeast, and spices. Not bad ... but New Belgium has it beat.

Good sweet apple candy smells with a nice malt backbone. Pours rich Golden color with some white head. Medium Crisp and smooth body with a crisp finish. Flavor had some hop to it not much. Good rich malt and biscuit going on. I must have a really fresh bottle compared to other that have reviewed this beer. I really found this to be a rally good and crisp amber.

Sampled at Odells on nitro draft. Pours golden amber with generous head and lacing thanks especially to the nitro. Too bad it kills the body. Light grain & floral aroma. Bready malt flavor with some more floral hops. Balanced. A bit pedestrian.

Sampled on nitro at Odell's Taproom. Pours dark gold with good clarity and thick, creamy, lasting head. The aroma balances sweet malt against floral hops. The flavor is amply malty with pleasant toastiness and spicy yeast character.

Hazy, paleish amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, a bit vegetables and grassy hops. Flavour is flowery hops, water and some caramel. Quite standard US Amber Ale.

Clear amber with a low white head. Sweet caramely aroma with touches of sweat and vegatbles. Clean and a bit sweet flavour of caramel, brown sugar and dark bread. Short aftertaste with a low bitterness. This is what I dislike when it comes to amber ales...

light body and depp amber in color. good head and great lacing. nice malt aroma and an ok mix of hops for taste. a pretty smooth taste of malts and a touch of hops for aftertaste. I prefer the nitro version of this a bit better though.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a smallish white head that retain fairly well and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet honey malt and some DMS.
The flavor is sweet and earthy malts with a touch of citrus. It has a little bit of a bitter crisp finish. The mouthfeel is pretty thin and watery.
Overall, a pretty average beer. Probably a good starter beer.
