Bombers from the tavern, I brought a handful home with me. Decent amber with some individual uniqueness, but a thin body doesn't help the cause. Aroma of cookies, brown sugar and some bakers spice. The more I sniff on it the more I'm reminded of a Butterfinger candy bar, fairly similar. Unfiltered amber-orange pour with a lasting 1/4" head and decent lacing. Light bodied and watery, somewhat balanced. Tastes of buttered sugar cookies, with a prominent toffee and caramel flavor. A splash of neutral hops cuts the sweet malt. Diacetyl seems to be present and whether or not it's desired by the brewer I think it actually adds a good niche to the flavor. Throw in some more malt to add a good body and this beer could be given a good push upward.

Thanks eagle. Poured an amberish color good lacing. Didn't smell good diacetyl and some off hops. Flavor was overrun by diacetyl not a good beer at all, just above a pour.

Bottle, courtesy Slob again. Poured an amber color, decent initial head, decent retention, decent lacing. The aroma was amber, diacetyl, light resinous hops. The flavor was caramel, diacetyl, pine and herbal hops. Unfortunately, the diacetyl got the better (or worse?) of this beer. Thanks, Bert, always cool to get a shot at something new and odd!
