The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a frothy white head that sticks around a few moments. The aroma is yeast, grass, light citrus, caramel, and weak spices. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour has some nice caramel and bready notes up front, and a citrusy bitter finish. Quite good. -

After really enjoying their Saison as my first from this brewery, I was quite happy to find this one. Pours a slight hazy golden colour with an orange hue. The head is almost creamy, off-white, long lasting with good lacing. The aromas are nice blend of citrus notes, bread, herbal hops and caramel malts. Very nice cereal grain taste with mild hops in the background. Kind of peppery, fresh grassiness. Again, a winning product for the style.

On tap at Jack Astor's, Square One, Mississauga. Pours an average size foamy bubbly white head with lots of thick dirty lacing. Has a pale golden appearance. Medium retention. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of floral and herbal hops, hints of grass and wheats. Flavours are light citrus, floral, grassy and some subtle notes of wheats. A good balance of sweetness and bitterness. Slight drying mouthfeel. Pretty good.

On tap - hazed gold with a large puffy cap which lasts. Aroma is dmure... citrusy hops and peachy esters with some funk from the Belgian yeast. Flavor is much the same as aroma - Pale malt balanced with citrus bite, fruity, clean finish with increasing resinous bittering. A mild mellow version of a pale ale, very approachable.
