A red ale with rich and smooth flavors of malted barley, balanced by underlying hints of dark fruit. Brewed in homage to our hometown tulip festival, Red Tulip evokes spring’s renewing spirit. Excellent with roasted pork, red-meats and dried fruit.

what a nice way to start a saturday: man utd winning 1-0 at the death @ bolton (Berbatov 90min) , a beer package at my door, and 8 hours til the weekend ... pours a dark red colour with a medium foam presence.. light sweet bark and maple flower aromas .. very smooth, nice light sweet flavours, but still needs that little extra to make it a return buy, i will say that is one of the nicer ambers i have had in the past good while. .. .. .. ...

this poured a nice red color , the beer foam quickly disappeared. The taste i did pick up plum and some raisin notes to it. Overall, it was ok. I don't known what all the hype about this beer is all about.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear reddish amber colour with a low disappearing white foam. Rather sweet aroma of caramel, vegetables, rubber and lingonberries. Soft if a bit flat flavour of caramel, butter, vegetables and sweat. Light-bodied. Short finish of neutral yeast, metal, biscuit and grass with a light sweetness from red berries.

A dark amber appearance with a caramel and raisin aroma. This beer is rather sweet and malty with some citrus and caramel showing through. Overall this was pretty much another ho-hum amber ale but ok to drink and not think.

This beer is very rich, and full of sweet malts. It pours a deep amber colour with a nice big head, the lacing on the glass is immediate and staggered. The immediate taste is sweet and creamy and that bread taste is detectable.

Good amber with a reddish pour producing a medium sized head and solid lacing. Malty aroma, sweet with fresh flowers. Mouthfeel is creamy at first but dives into a funky, sticky, thin quality. Sweet and roasty heavy on the malt with a mild bitterness. Toasted malt and a small noticeable smokey quality are hinted at but nothing too drawn out. Decent for the style but nothing I'd seek out.

Pours a medium, slightly hazy brown topped by a lightly browned foam head. The aroma is malty, caramel and fresh-baked brown bread. The flavor shares the bready malt full of crystal malt flavor. Very low bitterness and no noticeable hop aroma. Not bad.

This was decent. Ruby red out of the tap and a white head that doesn’t stay. Maybe I had a worse batch than other people, but I wasn’t too crazy about the flavor. It just tasted like a perfumed amber beer to me with a bitter finish. I’d recommend giving it a taste if you’re in the area and can have it on tap...
