A mild bitterness and a spicy aroma balance this perfect blend of caramel, coffee, and subtle roasted malt flavors. This brew emphasizes smooth, chocolatey goodness. A complex malt body gives this porter its robust character. Hops are present, yet almost untraceable on the foreground of the palate. Beneath a solid head of dark tan, our porter is black in color and highlighted with auburn hues. This brew tastes as deep as it looks and at 6% ABV, is stronger than most in its class. Dedicated to Shastafarians near and far, we salute the mountain that unites and refreshes us all. 43.2 IBU - 6% ABV

a fairly dark and flavorful porter. medium bodied and alittle dry. the roasted malt aspect is done well, and there are also hints of chocolate and coffee and hops on the nose and in the flavor. fairly simple, but nice.

My buddy brought over a couple of these, and I just love them. This is a really great porter. Rather dry, with a healthy dose of chocolate and the slightest hint of a spiciness (from the hops, I think). The mouthfeel was quite robust and it goes down so smoothly. Pours a very dark brown, like unmilked coffee, and has a light head that disappears rather quickly. This is really a fine beverage.

One of my favorite porters. Even though to me, it tastes much more like a stout. Dark color, almost black, with a lot of chocolate and coffee flavors and aromas. Enjoyable.

Great looking mahogany ,brown ale, with a nice thick, frothy light brown head. Very pleasant , dark chocolate aromas. with a slight milky scent. Quite a "chocolate" style porter In my opinion. The taste is dominated by semi-sweet chocolate style malts, there is however a noticable hop bitterness nearing the end.Along with nice taosty oat like falvours..very nice. Very good on the palte, smooth and not overly "thick" for the style. I found this to be a really comlex yet highly drinkable porter..well done.
