There used to be a Redhook beer called "Chinook Ale" I wonder if this is it. I remember liking the Chinook Ale a lot. This "Copper Ale" is pretty good, but not as good as I remember the old one. Somewhat flat tasting, but has a nice "fruity" quality to it. Certainly a drinkable session worthy beer.

Very hoppy aroma. Flavor is malty, not as hoppy to me as it smells... almost a sweet character. The flavor seems lighter than the alcohol suggests. Well done beer.

One of my all time session beers. This would be a great to have more than a couple of pints of. Reminds of british style bitters, but VERY smooth, and ultimately, very drinkable.

A fav for me. A lot of porter character, with a touch of scotch ale, or a touch of scotch flavors. Unfortunetly, this beer is harder to get for me than you'd think, because I am only about 120 miles from the brewery, yet I rarely am able to find it.

A nice porter. Had a the tiny brewery in Etna CA. If anyone else has every been there, they would know that it is quite an accomplishment for a small brewery like Etna to put out a quality beer like this. Go visit if you are ever in the State of Jefferson.
