Why can't more brewers put forth more effort in their amber ales? This is a style that doesn't need to be mundane and offers potential for goodness. Here is yet another sample of the bland version. Light amber body with a filmy thin head and splotchy lacing. A faint amount of caramel and biscuit, very little hops to speak of and a touch of toast. Needs some more malt and hops to keep my interest. NEXT!

Nice almost clear amber pour with a sustained medium creamy white head and some tight lacing. Some carbonation. Sweet caramel malt aroma with a touch of breadiness and some slight hops. Taste is initially slightly sweet and caramelly from the malts then a hint of hops bitter in then end. This would be a very nice session amber ale. Easy and satisfying brew from this tiny Cincy brewery.
