This smells really good, one of begbies better offerings (in statistical terms their standard deviation is large). I like the honey, and it is well balanced with a bit of hop betterness. I would venture to say a skant amount of hops was added near the end of the boil, as it has more hops on the nose than any other honey beer on the planet(that I have had), yet is not bitter. Ballpark 30 IBUS... Mouthfeel is smooth but thinner than I love, however it seems to suit this beer, providing a decent contrast to "thick" honey. Drops down the hatch easy enough, due to its rather straight forwardness and lack of anything to far off center. Nothing much to appreciate here really, just decent drinkable organic beer.

Flat looking body with a copper/red color. Aroma is different with lots of honey what was for some reason surprising and has good hops. Tasty awesome beer I could see myself drinking way to much of it and getting horribly drunk. Very malty with sweet honey luckily the sweetness is not over powering. Spice is noticeable but nothing I can pick out for sure.

Pouring me a three-fingered foamy, tan head (which gave up a small amount of lacing, then nothing!), the body was a terrifically clear, rich copper/amber colour. What a minute...what's that smell... smells like honey! (Sorry for that). Indeed, the aroma hitting my nose was indeed honey, and nice it was, too. Taste was gently honey, very nice. Mouthfeel was smooth, and the aftertaste was of diminished sweetness. Nice beer. Too bad it is of a limited run.
