Sampled on 1/14/2011. This German Hefeweizen pours a medium orange gold color from a 50cl swing top bottle. Large sized white foamy head with long lasting retention and nice lacing. The aroma is citrus, wheat and orange, with some spiciness. A medium bodied Hefeweizen. The malts are wheaty, citrusy, banana and clove. The hops are citrusy and spicy. Lively carbonation. Nice hints of citrus and orange at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Light nose of lemon and a hint of spice with some sour yeast. Medium amber body topped with a smallish white head that doesn't last and has minimal lace. Mouth is a bit watery, not slippery as I would have expected. Flavor is lemon, hints of cardamom, touch of pepper, finish is sour. Not as spiced as most heffes and a bit of a let down but drinkable.

A Semi-opaque orange-yellow colored lager. Healthy head, frothy white, staying around for awhile. Eventually settles into a thin white blanket over the body of the beer. The aromas are not strong. But ther is malt, wheat and some spices (cloves) and citrus hops. A lot of carbonation, though not offensively so. Bananas on the palate and not much else. Kinda bland as such.

Not sure how old this sample is but the aroma is citrusy with some sourness and mild banana and clove esters coming through with some faint biscuity and yeastiness as well. Appearance is a very cloudy golden-sunshine yellow with orange-red hues with a not so carbonated head on top that is white in color and dissipates to creamy lacing that coats the glass. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with mild estery complexity with musty balance with a palate that is light and a bit watery. Flavor is mild and of clove and banana with only slight citrus with sourness with an aftertaste that is clean and crisp but a bit dull around the ages and has a finish that is almost flat. Overall, little dissappointed here but not sure how old this bottle is and it could be a bit oxidized.

Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Lacing. Aroma is sour fruits, some wheat and yeast. Flavour is very much the same. Wellbalanced and not too sweet.

Pours a thick, cloudy orange body with an enormous white head, that stays for a while. Mild aromas of wheat, cloves and banannas. Light mouthfeel and semi sweet.

Not a bad hefeweizen. The body is great, almost creamy with just enough carbonation, not too much. The yeastiness is a little more mellow than I would really like, but a decent wheatiness. Mellow but nice.

Not your ordinary Hefe, but it's interestingly a good drink. Aroma is a little mellow some decent malt, grainy and wheaty with some sour fruits. Dark yellow pour with a light orange tint, huge fizzy white head that thickens up and settles down. Mouthfeel is alright nothing too spectacular. Taste has a hint of banana but I can't stop thinking of applesauce. It's odd but nice, now this one is about 4 months past the best before date, but there is a nice flavor of unsweetened applesauce that accompanies this beer. Ahhh, crisp clean finish. Not bad.

A little bit darker burnt milk color. Much foam as it is always in wheat beers. Aroma is a bit too weak to recognize some special things in it. Taste is a bit too citric, but not as bad as it could ruin the beer. Not too bad, but not above average too.
