This beer is the stickiest of the icky. It's a luxuriously hoppy amber loaded up with intemperate quantities of Nelson, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, which are some of the fruitiest, dankest hops sweet, sweet money can buy. Despite its amber hue, Blazing World is pleasingly dry, sporting a lightly bready malt backbone that serves as platform for the huge & complex hop profile.

Dec. 2016: Shared 1 US pint can at local tasting. Deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of pine / resin and sprucetips. Dry flavour, notes of resin and pine needles.

Taps clear amber with a thick and fine-bubbled eggshell head. Aroma presents resiny hops, evergreen and fresh malt. Flavor delivers evergreen, hoppy, woody, and malty notes for a very drinkable and enjoyable ale. Body is good, fizz is lively. Form Blazing Ale - put those spinning laser blades together!

A delicious and aromatic sweetly hoppy amber ale. Slightly dank, with citrus exploding out of each sip. Hoppy leaning but a pretty nice balance since the hops are more flavor and aroma and less bitter. Nice, nice brew.

Sampled on 3/18/2014. This amber ale pours a medium amber color from a 16oz can. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, hoppy and citrusy. A medium bodied amber. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. Decent carbonation. Interesting..this beer is either a hoppy amber or a malty IPA, or somewhere in between. Perhaps the Hoppy-dank amber should have tipped me off? Anyway a very nice beer. Its way hop heavy but there are a lot of malts at the finish. Definitely not your overly boring amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
