At the Ottawa brewpub. Pours a very thin tan cap and has a dark amber appearance with red highlights. Aromas of roasted malts, hints of coffee. Flavours are also quite malty, strong notes of the roasted malt as well as coffee notes and mild spices. Not a usual Amber, has quite a bit of smokiness to it. A bit different but enjoyable nonetheless. Leaves a bit of a drying sensation on the palate. Medium bodied mouthfeel.

Growler from the Ottawa brewpub. Pours a brown-copper colour with a beige head. Aromas of berries, coffee and roasted malts. Coffee flavours with the roasted malts, hints of chocolate and some nice hops in the finish. This creates nice bitterness and dryness. Again, I feel berries and this makes this brew quite interesting and differently delicious.
