Our Coconut Porter is a classic robust porter spiced with all natural toasted coconut. It is black in color and crowned with a creamy, dark tan head. It begins with a malty-toasted-coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky mouthfeel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. It then finishes with flavors of toasted coconut and hoppy spice to balance the finish.

Pours opaque dark chocolate with a nice tan head. Aroma starts with roast malt and adds caramel, coconut and toffee tones. Flavor ramps up the coconut and tosses in hints of molasses, semi-sweet chocolate and horehound. Mouthfeel features firm body and lively, lasting fizz. Go coco-nutty!

One of the better porters I've had in a while. Not too sweet from the coconut. Adds a toasty and nutty flavor. Semi-creamy texture with a super dark brown to near black appearance. This will be in my rotation.

A dark brown, nearly black colored beer with a big frothy textured light brown head rising above. Ther's good hang time on the head. A thick ringlet is left. There's some coconut and more roastiness in the nose. The roastiness dominates in the taste. The coconut has a minor supporting role. Bitter coffee and dark chocolate are up front. Light medium bodied. I am liking this one.

Opaque brown with tall, dark beige head that quickly disappears. Light but somehow rich aroma of roasted coffee and cocoa. Flavor follows aroma, with a lovely sweet backbone and just a little tang underneath. Some char, smoke, and a hint of acidity that wasn't present in the smell. The toasted coconut is present, but understated. I could do with more, to be honest. Large bubbles, wet and unsticky feel. Neither extreme nor complex, but quite pleasant; could be a good starter porter.

Trying this one again, lots of coconut in the aroma. Canned, thanks for sharing, marchcow. This was exactly what I was expecting. Black body with a light brown head. The aroma was obvious coconut with some milk chocolate and coffee. The taste was light milk chocolate with some roasted peanuts. A nice porter

355 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Black colour, huge greyish-brown head. Roasty dryish aroma, notes of wood, cocoa / chocolate, coffee and coconut, a hint of charcoal and smoke. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour has distinct notes of coconut, also notes of chocolate / cocoa and coffee. Moderate hops. Not too sweet, and the toasted coconut makes this porter something out of the ordinary. Weird, maybe, but unusual.

Brought this one back from Denver; one I've wanted to try for a long time. Pour black with a nice tan head. Smell of chocolate, coffee, didn't get much coconut aroma. Flavor is nutty, a tad bit of coconut not overdone but was hoping for a bit more. A very good porter.

Aroma and flavor featured a rich chocolate, with some coffee and an almond nuttines. Creamy and smooth, the carbonation gave it a bite upfront. I didnt get coconut out of it, but the other flavors were rather nice, glad i finally found some, its worth a try porter fans.

I think this is my first Hawai'ian beer. Gift from a friend of a friend. It pours a dark solid brown colour with a light brown head that lasts a while. The coconut is definitely there....a little coconut cream pie action on the nostrils along with roasted malt and coffee. Tastes great, but not complex. Sweetish coconut and roasted malt tones give way to a bitter finish.

12oz can. Pours black with a medium creamy tan head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet toasted, roasted fudgy chocolate and coconut. As it warms, the coconut dominates.
The flavor is a bit of a mess - acidic chocolate malts with a little coconut and some charred bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is light to medium boded and watery.
Overall, showed promise, but the flavors were very disjoint and it was thin and watery.
