Clear darker yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is bitter ale, taste is bitter , some yeast, some apple tones. Lasting bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201311)

500 ml translucent and capped bottle. Poured in an English tulip pint a hazy copper-brown coloured IPA with a generous one finger light beige creamy and dense foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is sweety malts, faint citrus notes, citrus, strong floral hops and someting like a , strange, sulfury touch. The flavour is heavy malty, biscuits, aciditic fruits, lime, floral hops and a hint of spices, pepper. The mouthfeel is creamy, fulled, quite thick and smooth. This medium bodied IPA has a long hoppy bitter finish. A very well balance and quenching British IPA.

Nice golden color with huge white top. Aroma is boring having only hops in it. Taste is nothing special either, but aftertaste was quite a pleasant surprise being quite refreshing and hoppy/bready...

Poured a clear, medium gold body under not very much of a white head. Aroma was floral and sharp. Falvour was okay for a Euro-IPA, less hoppy bitterness than a west coast IPA, and maybe some toffee. Mouthfeel could've been more robust, but smooth all the same.

This is a beautiful representation of the British IPA style. A golden orange pour wioth a long lasting white head. Muted hoppish scents share the nose with biscuity malts. Flavour is mildly bitter, with some balance from the sweet malt. Great beer.

Limited time at the LCBO. Printed on neck of clear bottle 02 DEC 11. Pours a rich golden colour with an amber hue. Its head is big, frothy, slightly off-white, has good retention and great lacing. Carbonation seems a bit on the low side with a few tiny bubbles coming up, from time to time. Mild hoppy nose with some grains, but after breathing a little, the alcohol comes out. Smooth mouthfeel with some nice stickiness. Good hop in the taste as well, not overpowering things, but keeping it refreshing. Notes of malt are in the back and decent bitterness stays a bit in the aftertaste. Not a bad IPA that is good just having one.

Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
March 15, 2011
I tried this beer onm March 15, 2011 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent orange gold with a 1" bubbly off-white head. The aroma was grainy malt, and floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was primarily hoppy with some caramel malt sweetness. -

Bottle: Poured a clear orangey color ale with a medium bubbly head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt with lightly dry and astringent hoppy notes. Taste is dominated by weak dry caramel malt notes with a dry finish. Body is average with OK carbonation. Lacking complexity or floral notes of English hops to be a beer I would drink again.

500 ml clear bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.7%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head that does not last very long. Moderate but nice hoppy (Cascade and Goldings) aroma, hints of toffee too. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has noticeable Goldings and Fuggles hops and some caramel, moderately bitter finish. Okay, but not particularly interesting.

Mmmmmm….I see here its listed as an ESB even thought the bottle say’s IPA and the reviews seem to be describing an IPA, but what ever. Copper body with a strange looking cap I can’t describe why it’s strange but it is. Skunky hop presence along with a smoky quality in the aroma but it’s not smoke I’m not sure what it is. Nice hop bite in the flavour but nothing over the top lemon, grass, light malt character beer is somewhat tasty. Very drinkable brew nothing bad to say about it.
