A fall classic, our Oaktoberfest emphasizes rich malt flavor. We use German malt and hops to give it an authentic Bavarian character. The rich, maltiness of this brew is a good match with spicy cuisine, as well as barbecue. Live Oak Oaktoberfest will certainly raise the level of enjoyment at your next fall gathering. Available September - December.

Oaktoberfest had a nice amber body but not much head and lace. Aromas and flavors of caramel, nuts, some fruit as well, but none were very assertive. Sweet and medium body, overall it was better than an average oktoberfest.

One of the seasonal craft brews available on tap, enjoyed at the Ginger Man on a trip to Dallas. Brownish amber color with a thin cream colored head. Foam shrank away quickly leaving minimal lace. Nice smell, nutty and slightly sweet caramel aromas. Malty sweetness with hints of smoke and toasted bread. A touch of fruity hops balancing the finish. Average body and mouthfeel, smooth going down. I thought this was a very good Oktoberfest, flavorful and drinkable.

had this on tap at B-Side in ATX ...good colour with stable low head, good sweet flavour that beat out samuel adams oktoberfest by a mile..this is a great oktoberfest that rivals germany.

Enjoyable as a change of pace for me. Handsome color, though a little lighter than I expected. Pleasant malty aroma, but the taste was a little acidic and unbalanced. Malty and sweet enough, but that acidic bite was a little off-putting. There are better offerings.

An oktoberfest aged on maple syrup in oak barrels. Light color for an oktoberfest, it pours a medium amber, topped with a two finger foamy white head, leaves webs of lacing. Malty aroma, sweet, bread, herbs, wood and vanilla. Sweet taste, a lot of maple comes through, toast, biscuit, flowers and wood. The oak and maple are subtle and add to the beer, they're not overwhelming. Medium bodied.

An amber colored Oktoberfest with no head or lace. Aroma is malty with dark fruit (prunes). Flavor is slightly sweet. Light to medium-bodied and moderately carbonated. Average for the style.

Sampled on draft, Ginger Man, Austin. Pours a clear amber with a minimal head and no lacing. Not so attractive. Aroma is far too subtle. Plum and caramel noted. Flavor was rich caramelized malts and spice with more fruit noted in the flavor. Smooth with low carbonation and perhaps a bit too watery. An enjoyable beer, but perhaps not so on target for the style.
