Called "Fruitess on the Rocks" as they suggest to pour over ice cubes. ABV. is showing 3.8% and 6-pack from the LCBO. Red-amber colour, on the dark-side with a long lasting pink head and some decent lacing. Very sweet nose with lots of candy fruits (mostly strawberries, but other berries). The taste is sweet as well with the fruits, cherries mostly adding some nice sourness to blend things. I love these fruity beers, but they are very candy-like, more then a true fruit beer.

Pours a huge foamy pinkish head and slowly dissipates to a thin layer. Lacing is ok. Aromas are very strong with the berries, mainly raspberry and cherry with hints of strawberries. Flavours are mainly cherries with strong notes of raspberries, and various fruity hints. A bit yeasty as well. Tarty and slight sourness on the palate in the finish. Full bodied. Great retention.

Another from my Ohio haul. Berry Cherry color pour, champagne like bubbled head, spots of lacing. Berries, a whole bushel of berries, some sweet some tart, bubbly like champagne, light and zesty, Belgian yeasts, and then... more berries. Very very tasty berries.

Cork says 2010 on it and the cap says 8/2012. Pours a clear raspberry color with no head to think of. Very, very carbonated with plenty of little chunk floating around. Aroma is very fruity with a very tart feeling to the nose. Taste is extremely light. Hints of fruits, slight tartness and a little metallic taste. Aftertaste is dry and sticky. Not the greatest but drinkable.

Clear red color with quickly dissapearing foam head. Aroma is sweet fruits, so does the taste. We drank this as a desert after nice meal. It’s good for that. (Utrecht 201203)

Interesting brew. Doesn't have the depth of Liefman's other lambic type fruit beers, and is also lacking the sour or tart qualities. That said, this pink brew is waaaaaay better than your typical throw some fruit in a shitty wheat beer variety. I dug it. Like a mixed berry mixed drink...not particularly beer-like, but that's ok. As expected, really liked by the ladies at our tasting, but the guys all liked it a little more than expected.

Paired well with a grilled beef-portebello dinner. A cherry red colored beer with a big reddish tinged frothy textured head rising robustly above. Pretty good hang time. Settles eventually into a thick ringlet with light splotches of film. A light effervescent body. A cherry nose. A syrupy cherry flavoring. That syruping effet can be disconcerting.

250 ml bottle, as Liefmans Fruitesse, from the foreign beer bar at the Darlington Spring Thing Beer Festival. ABV is 4.2%. Brewed with 15% fruits. Beautiful red colour, moderate pink head. Strong sweetish aroma of cherries and mixed berries, also notes of fruit candy. Sweet fruity flavour, like a fruit soda, fruit candy notes galore. Tasty, but there is nothing here to remind you that this is a beer.

Not a huge fruitbeer fan, but this is pretty good. Not super tart or sugary, just balance, evervecent, bubbly, frizzy, lightly fruity. Would have liked more of the cool yeasty flavours and sour and tartflavours that you get with many of the better fruit beers. Its ok. Fruit flavours are general, and light. Bilberries, which are contained in this beer are supposed to be healthy and good for your eyes
