A bit disappointed by this one, nevertheless i like very much this microbrewery...I think they tried too much with that helles/dortmunder,too high active carbonation resulting in a too much big head though disappearing quickly...Aroma of fresh cereal and hops, but too fizzy mouthfeel ,i think the flavor is complex enough light malt with good german hops...This beer would just need a few adjustment especially in the carbonation department to be better i think....A suivre.

Bottle: Poured a blonde lager with a small white bubbly head with average retention. Taste is very refreshing with some semi-sweet malt and a subtle hops presence. Body is a bit thin and there is a definite lack of complexity. This is in my opinion a very average session beer overall.

Bottled: poured a hazey honey-gold color. Active carbonation and a modest cap that laces well enough. Aromas of fresh milled toasty malts and a slight wisp of cider and herbs. Peppery mouth feel medium light bodied. Malty up front then a fruity acidic decernment from yeast and hops, clean fresh finish slight after taste of bread. A very decent pislsner in the German style...propbably will be over looked or buried in the flood of pilsners on the market, too bad this is a good all malt rendition of the style.

Bought this at the "Trappe à Fromage" in Gatineau, Quebec. Pours a golden colour with hints of amber. The head is not much, and goes down very quick. Some small lace left behind. The aroma is malty, but not very strong. The mouthfeel is pretty flat. The taste though is better. I find some smoke in there, sweet malt and bitterness with slight lemon. Close to their Aramis (amber/vienna) I had last night. The taste gets better as you drink it, but this brew is just a regular thirst quencher.
