On tap at Brasseurs du Temps brewpub. Pours a fairly small frothy tan head and has a black colour for appearance. Sticky lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, coffee and earthy hops. Flavours are also mainly dark roasted malts, plenty of chocolate and coffee notes. Some sweet malts as well as earthy and herbal hops. Pretty smooth mouthfeel and a bit of a warming sensation in the finish. Pretty good.

Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown colour, almost black, with a small beige frothy head and a little lacing. Roasted malt aromas with notes of nuts and coffee. The hops shows up in the start of the taste, with decent bitterness that last the whole time, and over the roasted malts. Hints of roasted nuts, chocolate and cherries. A nice black IPA that has a big stout nose, and the IPA in the mouth.
