Little red headed Benoni Nadeau of Saint-Hilaire had a strange accent and he came here under mysterious conditions. No wonder! He may have been Louis XVII, the little runaway king that the French had lost in the 1800s. We raise a glass of our royally good amber ale to this most unique adopted son.

Small cute bottle purchased at NB Liquor on my way to Nova Scotia. Pours a clean copper colour with a warm-beige head, average retention and nice thin creamy lace. Caramel aromas with nuttiness and some grassy hops giving a bit of a metallic touch. This also appears in the taste, but less well-balanced making this beer not taste too good. Luckily smells good. Not one I would have again.
