Can under Lemon Shandy - Craft Weiss Beer... sounds fancy. Big smell of candied lemon and lime. Hazy golden colour with a tad amber. The head is huge, white, very long lasting with some creamy lace notes. The taste is on the bitter-ish side with the citrus peel. It does feel more natural, but lacking some punchiness. Light yeast. Nothing really special here. Kind of prefer the candied nose over the natural rest. Weird!

Poured this cloudy yellow beer and was instantly struck by the smell of a lemon cake. The mouthfeel is a little thin but quite smooth. The taste is odd like a lemonade that the ice has melted in. Oh and when you burp you can taste the lemon.

I appreciate what they're going for here, but this is a slight miss. While still refreshing, it has a certain artificial quality to the lemon in the aroma and flavor. I'd prefer Sam Adams to this...

Pours a murky light yellow with a small foamy off-white head that quickly fades to nothing. The aroma is lemon-lime soda and lemonade mixed together. The taste is the same with a grain flavor that comes out on the aftertaste. This beer has a nice level of carbonation but it's a bit thin. Overall, this is not bad and is light and refreshing on hot summer day.

One of the first drinken at a pre-summer beer tasting party. Refreshing for the season. Starting to see these Shandys around. Never had a real one, but one of my buddies introduced me to them after trips to England (he had a British wife). I tried Shocktop's version last month. This one seemed more lemony....or more like lemonade. Decent enough to try again to get the real feel, but may prefer Shocktop's Shandy better. Will probably do a "One after the other..side-by-side" comparison later in the summer to be sure... Catch my drift mate?

This is like a more lemony version of the sunset wheat and little more watery and a little more perfumey. At times I can't tell this and the sunset wheat apart, thought that hint of perfume in this one is the field mark I look for. If I am going to mix lemonade and beer I will stick with sol or corona,

This poured a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is lemons and well more lemons with a bit of bready notes as well. The flavor is pretty much like lemonade not much else to say about it. Overall this is good for a hot day and it’s a way to have an alcoholic lemonade type beverage that won’t have your friends making fun of you.

Enjoyed with my Super Nachos at Progressive Field while taking in an evening Indians game. Amazingly I was contemplating getting a soda instead of a beer, but couldn't make up my damn mind when alas my wife came back with a couple of Shandy's for us....yup she read my mind and it was an ideal beverage for that setting. All in all I enjoyed the hell out of this offering, a true blend of lemonade and mild wheat beer. Spritzy, fruity, vibrant and quenching on a warm night. Some odd qualities that may take time to fully adjust to, but I know I can get this in cans and that just may be exactly what I'll do.

Imagine you’ve spilled your beer in a vat of cheap lemonade. Now I like lemonade. But. This is a dense straw yellow colored liquid. Big foamy textured white head rises above. Some hang time Impressive film on side of glass. Less impressive ringlet/cap atop the body. Smells of lemon, tastes like lemonade from a powdered mix. Not much else to say.
