Bottle. Poured a clear deep gold colored beer with a good two fingers white creamy foamy head that had a long retention. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is malty. The flavour is slight grassy malts, slight grassy hops. The mouthfeel is like a bad water. This light bodied beer has a dry end. From sight, an O.K. beer but from smelling and mouthfeel, not an O.K. beer at all. Entirely disappointing.

Lech is Blech...................say it with me people. This is your typical Eastern European swill. Low on colour (clear gold), low on aroma (grass), and low on flavour (mildly malty).

This is a lovely, fresh smelling, wonderful tasting beer. I find it subtle and crisp and easily drinkable. I think that this beer is by far Poland's best from the mainstream beers.

The beer poured a translucent ligfht gold with a bubbly white head. The aroma was skunky malt and grass. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and highly carbonated. The flavour was very grassy,m with a little bitterness on the end. -

Poured out a large white, rocky cap that stuck around longer than I expected but still faded to near to nothing. Nice crystal clear deep gold colour. The aroma is pretty decent when left to sit in the glass for awhile. Some skunk exists but it's managable, average malt and some lemon. Taste is pretty much what you might expect - dissapointing. The first impression that I get is a biting sourness that leads into a very bitter taste that is less than appealing despite the chuggablity of this brew. Also to be found - chemicals, alcohol, ect. I went from liking this to pounding it so I can get to the next brew. Light bodied, the carbonation might be decent but the sour attack kills it. Aftertaste is almost a burn. This shit sucks.

Bought at the LCBO with a best before date of 28;08;07 written under the can. Pours a pale yellow colour, looking like most light beers (but not being one). Hardly any bubbles coming up to the surface. Thank goodness there is at least a good white frothy head that is created and that stays a while. Close to no lacing though. Nice pils-like scent at first, but then disappears to surface grain malt, rust and some other chemical malt-liquor aromas. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. The taste starts off malty, then bitterness kicks in to then end up into this great big corn field. Not really offensive, if you like the corn finish, but overall, a boring Euro lager.

Overall a decent lager, light golden with a frothy head this beer is easy to drink...A decent malt and hop aroma,in mouth this is well balance with the right carbonation...Sweet malt and hoppy flavor, for the price this beer has a good value.

1/2 liter can. Pour puts a golden bright lager in the flute...decent 2 finger white frothy cap, fair retention, good lacing. Well carbonated. Aroma of herbal-citrus bouquet under bready malts ( very decent aroma). Medium bodied, soft mineral mouth feel...meaty pale malt backbone. Starts a tad sharp from the carbonation ( too sparkling/spritzy) but once past that you can chew into the bready Moravian malts...then the balance from both saaz and Lublin hopping comes in and you get a nice bread and lemon decernment under a more creamy mouth feel. Finishes crisp and clean with the bittering dropping right off to leave a light bready-biscuity taste and virtually no sweetness. The 5.2 ABV makes this a very drinkable and satisfying beer. This is an above average Polish lager and I am surprised I like it as well, if not more so, than Okocim Zagloba....and at 1.75 for 1/2 liter you wanna know this is gonna be in my fridge...it's a bargain at that price.
