Enjoyed at the brewpub on my 2017 trip. Pours a dark brown colour with a cascading effect, a big creamy beige head, very long lasting with great lacing. Roasted malt nose with loads of coffee and sweet syrup. Roasted malts in the taste with some hops showing dry-bitterness in the finish. A very nice stout with an IPA touch (as now I found out it is a Black IPA). A beautiful-looking beer.

600ml bottle from Marché Omni. Pours a huge frothy tan head that leaves some thick sticky lacing behind. Has a dark brown appearance with deep amber highlights. Aromas of dark roasted malts, coffee, cocoa and hints of chocolate. Flavours are coffee and cocoa with some earthy hops. Dry fruit notes and some chocolate as well. Slick mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Great retention. Good stuff!
