I had the same tought as chopz that beer looks like a fresh grapefruit juice...Very refreshing,a bit sour with a good malt base;i would have prefer more yeast taste nonetheless...The cranberry addition is well done, just miss a little something to be really great;like maybe a better yeast culture???

Bottle: Poured a hazy amber ale with light pink tinge to it in my glass. Two finger rocky cap reduced quickly...modest lacing. Aroma was weird: The Cranberrys and some spice notes were there and so was the grain but there was an over powering vegital aroma like spoiled celery..weird Some malty sweeness starts out but is quickly balanced by tart cranberry tones, no hops seem present...sour and overpowered with the spoiled veggie tastes. I suspect I got a spoiled/over date sample...I will revisit this beer in the winter when I go to Montreal.

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
Bottle: Poured a red beer with a bubbly head that disappeared a tad too fast. Aroma is quite spicy with some sweetness in the mix. Carbonation is really good and body is medium, which is quite convenient for fruit beer. The ginger taste is quite powerful (does taste like real ginger as opposed to some flavoured ginger taste) with the sweetness from the cranberry balancing things out. Overall, this is a very refreshing beer and probably a bit underrated. I had this beer about two years ago and I see some major improvement with those products recently.

Sampled from their brown 660ml bottle. This beer is self-proclaimed as a spiced beer and contains the usual ingredients of water, hop, malt, yeast and then coriander, ginger, cinnamon and cranberry juice. It poured a hazy pink-orange colour that reminded me of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. The creamy head was white and left smooth lacing on the glass. Aromas were of spices and hints of fruits. The taste was medium-strong in bitterness-sourness and has a prodominance of cranberries. The mouthfeel was thin. I would call this more a fruit beer then a spiced beer, but quite good none the less.
