Golden orange color with a nice white head. I don't get much strawberry in the aroma, but I do get the wheat. Taste is wheaty and sweet but no defined strawberry flavor. Kind of disappointing.

A beer of the month club offering for may/june 2010. Pours slightly reddish amber. Short lived head, aroma is slightly fruity beer, not easily detected strawberry. Flavor is easily drinkable, fairly crisp -- in short ok.

Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. Awkward strawberry aroma. It doesn't smell like real strawberries. It smells like strawberry candy would smell. I guess it seems "artificial". The taste is better than the smell but not much. Worth trying once I guess.

The aroma had some nice strawberry hints as well as that of yeast. This poured a hazy golden color with a thin head and loads of bubbles-quite inviting looking. However, the taste really turned me off.....it was very medicinal-like and bitter. No hints of the strawberry flavor at all.

Not a big fan of wheat beers in the first place, so I thought adding some strawberry flavoring would change that. It didn't! Lancaster Strawberry Wheat has a dark golden hue and a thick off-white head that has an excellent leave. The aromas are of (naturally) strawberries, along with alcohol. It has a very dry medicinal flavor with a stale strawberry aftertaste. It reminded me of the dried strawberries they put in Special K cereal!

Slightly hazy, surprisingly dark red for a beer called a wheat. Smells a bit like a strawberry shortcake. The flavor seems to lack depth and finishes pretty watery. Ehh.

12.26.04 12oz bottle. Golden-yellow-orange the color of my ratty blanket with large white head. Sampled as part of my closet cleaning splurge. Strawberry jam aroma, some light grainishness. The flavor is bland and yet sour, like very underripe strawberries and some malt liquor.

Pours a light copper with a nice foamy head. Strawberry is apparent in both aroma and taste. Usually one of my least favorite styles (I prefer my coffee to taste like coffee and my beer to taste like beer with one exception, add as much chocolate as ya like), this makes for an excellent representative of a fruit beer, except of course for me the strawberry taste was a bit over the top.

Lancaster Strawberry Wheat is a decent brew for the summertime. It pours a light reddish body with a white head (no lacing). It smelled and tasted like strawberries. Not bad but a light too crisp almost wine like for my taste.
