Dark brown colour with a touch of copper highlights, a big frothy-creamy light-mocha coloured with good retention and beautiful creamy-wavy-soapy lacing. The nose shows big grassy hops over the mild roasted malt base. Wet, refreshing mouthfeel with not much dryness, which I was expecting. The taste shows the roasted barley showing some fruity notes, almost berrylike. Hints of licorice, herbal. An easy-drinking, refreshing Black IPA.

The beer pours a solid coca-cola colour with a bubbly brown head. Lacing is good. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and citrus. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a nice mixture of dark chocolate and citrus, with a tangy finish.
