Interesting, this seems to be a pretty rare beer that has been available for quite some time. Makes me wonder how often it's produced. I found it at The Green Dragon in Portland two nights ago. Nice red brown color with good lacing. Aroma and flavor is a little medicinal with piney hops. Light medium body with a light bitter finish. Caramel malt sweetness. Just kind of plain, which is maybe why it's so rare and not listed on the Lagunitas website!

Dark amber color, medium head. Medium bodied amber. Roasted malts, slightly sweet. Some hop spiciness, but the malts predominate. Full flavor. Mild taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is malty and slightly sweet, some bitterness. Nice milder tasting amber.

Dark amber in color, this beer has some lazy effervescence that builds a good solid head and leaves above average lace. Aroma is a very good balance of sweet malts and piney hops. Mouthfeel is quite full and very smooth; soft and creamy to an extent. Flavor is surprisingly sweet from start to finish, with a hop level that is just high enough to make it interesting. Definitely a maltier brew...and a very good one!

A decent Amber, nice malt front and a fair hop spiciness that appeals to me, another decent session beer, but there a bazillion better amber than this one.
