Last seen drinking Nothing!

Work as an automotive installation technician at Best Buy. I enjoy brewing and drinking beer immensely, and do so on a daily basis. I am married with a 5 year old daughter and a newborn son. My favorite beer styles include mostly darker, heavier beers; anything with "Imperial" or "Vintage" in the name. I am an avid beer swapper as well, and have access to about 500 beers locally, so if you would be interested in trading, let me know. My favorite beer quote is as follows: A great beer will not settle for being will insist on being experienced.

Pours light orange with a thin head and medium effervescence. Aroma is clean and fresh, with hoppy and fruity notes. Mouthfeel is very crisp, but soft. Flavor is unique, bright and citrusey with little of the standard malt/hop presence. No noticeable aftertaste. I think this may actually be my favorite Japanese beer to date. Very nice!

Hoppy and fruity aroma of pineapple. Slightly cloudy orange with a large, off-white head. Full, smooth texture and little effervescence. Well-balanced with a smooth, malty body and hoppy crispness in the beginning and end. Pretty average all the way around. Nothing about this beer really comes out and jumps at me. Just a good, standard American Pale Ale in my opinion.

Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier. Aroma is dark and rich, of roasted meat and smoke, with a thick sweetness. Pours dark like Coca Cola with a nice frothy off white head. Nace lacing in the glass. Effervescence is low. Mouthfeel is fairly full and smooth, otherwise unremarkable. Flavor is very rich, full and dry with a salty finish. Comparable to liquid beef jerky, this beer is a nice change of pace from your crisp hoppy pale ales and cheerful pilsners. Of the few smoke beers I have sampled, this is my favorite. Would probably go very well with a fine smoked cheddar.

Boskeun Speciaal Paasbier pours orange-yellow with a huge off-white head. Aroma is light, but sweet and citrusey with a slightly bready undertone. Mouthfeel is light and soft, with a champagne-like feel. Flavor is clean and dry and of alcohol, with some citrusey notes. Overall, a very lively, interesting Belgian; although leaning toward the light, cleansing end of the spectrum, it still has plenty of alcohol to please.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Aroma is light, but sweet and pleasant. Pours very dark brown with a big brown head and great lacing. Mouthfeel is about average, fairly thick and creamy. The flavor is very nice; full, rich and thick with a slight sweetness to it. Solid, bitter finish. Very well-balanced and pleasant stout. For the price, I recommend this to anyone. This is a good beer.
